About the event

We are honored to be invited by the City of Roswell to take part in the 71ST ANNUAL NATIONAL DAY OF PRAYER to bring awareness and facilitate how the public can support the Ukrainian people. The Atlanta Wind Symphony will be playing the Ukrainian National Anthem during the Ceremony, while attendees hold up mini flags of Ukraine. Please watch the ANNOUNCEMENT VIDEO for more information. https://youtu.be/i9P3M6BeTuU The event will take place on THURSDAY, MAY 5, 2022, (12NOON —1PM) FACES OF WAR MEMORIAL (lawn seating) ROSWELL CITY HALL 38 Hill Street, Roswell In the event of RAIN, the PRAYER PROGRAM will take place in the CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS - inside Roswell City Hall (2nd Floor). This annual national prayer brings together representatives from our Government, Business, Education, Military, Media, Church and Family, with focused prayers on encouraging and rallying support for each respective segment of our local and national institutions regarding the struggles that we face; for God to inspire and direct our leaders with divine wisdom to find practical solutions and coopt human efforts to help individuals and families throughout our nation. The event will feature UPLIFTING PRAYERS by respected state, business, and community leaders as well as INSPIRING MUSIC by nationally acclaimed and award-winning artists and kindergarten students from Fellowship Christian School. The program will include a DEDICATED PRAYER for the precious people of UKRAINE and a TRIBUTE to all UKRAINIANS who are suffering indescribable loss, pain, trauma from the invasion and destruction of their homeland as millions of women and children are forced to flee to neighboring countries with only a suitcase, leaving behind their fathers, husbands and brothers and their entire lives and memories that they have built over the years.
